What is it?
a compact, portable PA System with one Bass BIn, two Mid/Top satellite speakers and three built-in Amplifiers. The largest, most powerful one in the range with a total of 700watts RMS and weighing only 63.5kgs in total (all three units together)
The DAVE Systems is a range for THREE complete and portable PA setups from LD Systems:
Each DAVE System is built around the same concept: a single Bass Bin with a Bass Driver, a crossover, control panel, threaded Speaker Pole mount and THREE Amplifiers.
Separating the bass frequencies and running them through a separate Amplifier and SPeaker helps deliver a much better sound. This design leaves the smaller Mid/High speakers to deliver clear sound at the higher frequencies without having to deliver bass notes at the same time. Overall result? ... better sound!
To connect it up, you plug the STEREO signal from your mixer into your DAVE Bass unit, where the crossover directs the bass frequencies to the Bass Amplifier (delivering mono bass to the single Bass Driver) and sends the Mid/High frequencies in STEREO to the other two built-in Amplifiers.
On the control panel there are SPEAKON output sockets, connected to the Mid/High Amplifiers, for a simple link to the two Mid/High Satellite Speakers.
There is also a 'link-though' so you can connect another Amp or Active Speaker if you running sound in more than one area or room.
For best effect, place the two Satellite Speakers some way apart to get the best 'spread' of sound and effective Stereo Separation.
With one bass bin to carry - and all the Amps / Controls built into it - this is a very easy system to carry, transport and store.
With all the speaker cabinets being made from wood and excellent electronic and speaker components, you get a clear and warm sound from the entire range. Choose the right one for you based on the overall volume you need for the type and size of gigs you do.

What can you use it for?
The DAVE 15 is great for medium sized Discos, bigger parties and similar
It is also ideal for duos / small groups performing in medium-sized venues where you want a clear, warm sound with a bit of extra 'kick'.
